Philosophy
Shri Gaudiya Vedanta Samiti is a mission envisioned by its Founder-President-Acharya His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad 108 Shri Shrimad Bhakti Prajnan Keshava Goswami Maharaj to study, practice and preach the true essence of 'Vedanta' with the precepts of Lord Shri Chaitanya as taught by His Spiritual master Om Vishnupad Paramahansa-Swami Shrimad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad.
The Vedas are the wish-yielding Trees, the Brahma-sutras or Bhakti-sutras are the Flowers and Shrimad Bhagavata is the Holy Fruit brought down from Vaikuntha. He who has tested the Nectarine Elixir of the Vedanta-sutras is self-satisfied and does not have any relish for other Scriptures. The absolute sound is the main substratum of the Vedanta. The Vedantic sounds have a different aim. Indian Philosophy has been mentioned in six different phases. The five old schools of philosophy in India do not bear the same character with the Vedanta Philosophy. The Vedantic scheme is quite different from limited structural monuments. The method of studying that particular philosophy should never be confined to our present plane of thought. The theme of Vedanta actually deprives the human frame and subtle body. The Upanishads are the Scriptures accepted as the Vedas or Srutis. They are considered as the acme of the Vedic literature. Upanishadic -Mantras are apparently conflicting, but they are reconciled by Shri Vedavyas in his ‘Uttar-mimansa’ philosophy.
The Ramanuja-philosophy is quite different from the observations of Acharya Shri Shankar and his theory of pantheism. The theory of devotion or ‘Bhakti’ has been accepted by The theory of absolute monism is not the purport of the Vedanta philosophy. Shri Madhvacharya’s eternal duality always maintained the devotional aptitude which is the common basis of Positive Truth. The Ontological view will surely prove us that Eternal Brahma is the Supreme cause of the Universe. He is identical with His Ablolute Name, Spiritual Form, Attributes and transcendental Qualities and Pastimes.
The Supreme Lord Shri Krishna Chaitanya, Who is ever kind to all humanity has declared Shrimad Bhagavatam as a standard light-house in our journey of life. His Teachings are based on the Vedas. The Vedas and the Vedantas teach us the philosophy of Love and Devotion i.e., the service towards Godhead is the eternal religion of man. Love for God alone makes us really sympathetic to all mankind. Vedavyas when sat for ‘Samadhi’ with his devotional aptitude witnessed with his spiritual eyes the full Form of The Absolute-Shri Krishna the Eternal Fountainhead, who is the sole Subject of Shri Goudiya Vedanta Samiti.
The Precepts of Lord Shri Chaitanya is very difficult to be understood by mere intellect. The Doctrine of Divine Love at present situation is baseless & something imaginary though it is beyond human conception. With humble heart it must be practiced and realized. Shri Goudiya Vedanta Samiti (Regd.) and its preaching centers all over India, is devoted to study, practice, realize and preach the true essence of Vedanta all over world.
